A Legacy of Legal Excellence and Client Trust

Tom Hogan was born and raised in the Wyoming Valley. A graduate of Holy Redeemer and King's College, Attorney Hogan grew up working in various family businesses and understands the needs and dynamics of protecting what you have worked so hard for. After graduating from King's, he pursued his legal education at the Syracuse University College of Law. While at Syracuse, he worked as a student-attorney in the Elder Law Legal Clinic of the College of Law. After graduating, he accepted a Legal Fellowship with Equal Justice Works’ Veterans' Legal Corps and Legal Assistance of Western New York (LAWNY) in their Geneva, NY office. Attorney Hogan assisted veterans and their families with estate planning needs, landlord-tenant matters, as well as assisting and advising in veterans' benefit matters with the Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Attorney Hogan returned to Luzerne County in 2019, back to his hometown of Plymouth, PA. Attorney Hogan joined the Law Office of Thomas A. O’Connor, P.C. whose principal, Attorney Thomas A. O’Connor, has served the Luzerne County area for over forty years. Attorney Hogan’s practice focuses on estate planning and estate administration, with experience in handling real estate transactions, purchases of businesses and representation before the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. He is also accredited by the Department of Veterans' Affairs to handle matters ranging from the initial disability benefits application to representation before the Board of Veterans' Appeals.

Attorney Hogan and his wife, Suzanne Pickering-Hogan, work together daily in the office to help the residents of Luzerne County, who they grew up around. In our free time, we enjoy travelling, exploring different cuisines, participating in community service and spending time with our family.
